The Judge Ladder™ is a map for learning to work with AI, starting from zero. Maybe you've never used an AI chatbot. Maybe you've tried one once and weren't sure what the fuss was about. Maybe you use one daily but suspect there's more. Wherever you're starting, this is a map of the whole journey — from your first conversation with an AI to confidently overseeing AI that does real work for you.
The framework's one idea: working with AI is a ladder with five rungs, and what changes at each rung is not the AI — it's you. How much of the work you hand over, and where you apply your judgment. That's why it's called the Judge Ladder: at every rung, your job is judgment. Climbing just changes where you apply it.
Every rung page follows the same four-part shape, so you always know where you are:
What's new at this rung and why it exists.
A running example — a weekly team summary — showing exactly what this rung looks like, narrated.
What you should be able to do here, and the test of whether you're truly ready for the next rung.
